Kate Carson-Groner is a Chicago actor, writer, musician, director, and filmmaker originally from Elkin, North Carolina. She earned her B.F.A. in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a minor in Vocal Performance. Since moving to Chicago, she has studied and performed at Second City and iO. She has also taken several performance classes and is currently learning how to play the accordion.
Kate is a proud company member and Associate Director of Films at The New Colony. She improvises with Eleanor and Storytown. She also performs in and writes for Funemployed, a webseries.
Kate lives in Chicago with her husband Michael and her adopted pug-chihuahua, Duke Ellington.
