Despite hating practicing piano as a child, Kate has studied more and more music in the past few years. She minored in Vocal Performance in school, and has since learned to play the accordion, ukulele, guitar, banjo, mandolin, musical saw, and continues to play piano.
Kate enjoys singing regularly with The Reeves House Band and singing and playing accordion with The Tree of Forgiveness Band, a John Prine tribute.
She plays and writes music with the duo (sometimes trio) Quaint as Folk.
She's a member of a folk duo called Lilac & Crow.
Kate was also fortunate enough to form a lady band for the world premiere of All Our Tragic. Called Odd-Jobs, they released some of their music for purchase here.
